BAR HARBOR- The Crow Athletics Hurricane Relief Run/Walk held on Saturday and Sunday Sept, 10-11 was a tremendous success with 102 people of all ages participating. Runners and walkers circled the MDIHS track for 1,569 total laps, over a period of 24 hours, and in the process raised $2,403.83 all of which has been sent to the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Relief effort.

Special thanks to Sally Leighton, Bunky Dow, Griff Fenton, Jamie Gonzales, Granville Lumber, the Opera House Internet Cafe, Narraguagus Printing Company, Rob Hetzer, Crow Athletics, and every participant, too numerous to name without whose help this event could not have happened.
