No late registrations or transfers, sorry! Custom bib numbers have been ordered and coded with personal data and emergency contact information. This information has been communicated to public safety departments. Bib numbers and timing chips are uniquely coded and personalized for each individual participant. This means that we are unable to reassign any that may go unclaimed.

Save the date: Next year’s race is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th, 2024. You may sign up to be alerted when registration opens by clicking HERE.

The Millinocket Marathon & Half is a FREE event. No one is required to pay an entry fee to participate in our event. Instead, we ask that runners spend money in the town our race was created to help. With that said, we do have some essential race services we need to fund. These costs include: insurance, bib numbers, race timing, bus transportation, port-a-johns, as well as a few other professional services. Optional donations may be made at the time of registration, or from the donation page to help us ensure these bills get paid. Anything raised above and beyond our essential race expenses will be donated to Millinocket area charitable groups or organizations.

If you are not running, or you didn’t chip in at time of registration, but you’d love to support the race, please click HERE to make a donation to help cover race expenses. Thank you!

In the unlikely event that not enough donations are collected in advance of the race, a mandatory donation may be required for late entries.

Please keep in mind that registration is limited and may close without notice. All participants must be signed up in advance by November 1st. There is NO registration available at bib pick-up.

Confirm my Registration

It is the participant’s responsibility to confirm that they have completed the registration process and are signed up to run.

Once successfully signed up to participate, a confirmation email will be sent to the address provided at the time of registration.

Additionally, please check the posted list of confirmed entrants. If you do not see your name, you are not signed up to run.

All participants must be signed up by November 1st.

Every year there is a small percentage of folks who, for whatever reason, do not complete the registration process. ZippyReg has multiple systems in place to alert prospective registrants that they haven’t completed the check out process, but for whatever, reason, this small percentage of people do. They usually don’t seem to realize their error until it’s too late to sign up, and they are very disappointed as a result. Our best advice is to not be one of these people, and make sure that you’re signed up to run.

Wait List

Registration for both races is capped and may close without notice. If this happens races officials *might* open a wait list. If there are cancellations and more spots open up prior to November 1st, these spots will be available via the wait list.

Update or Cancel My Registration

Please keep in mind that although our race is free, there are still many costs associated with your entry. There are also entrant capacities for both events. If you are unable to run, please cancel by November 1st. Thank you!

HOW TO CANCEL YOUR REGISTRATION: You will need to access your personal Registration Portal within ZippyReg to make changes or updates. Please use the link in your Run Millinocket confirmation email*.

If you cannot find your confirmation email, click the red 'help me retrieve the code' button found on this page.

*Sea to Summit Race Series (S2S)—If you signed up for Millinocket via S2S, please contact the friendly folks at ZippyReg for assistance with canceling your entry.

No-Shows

(Don’t be one!)

Please keep in mind that although Millinocket is free, there are still many associated costs and funds expended when planning for your participation. No-showing or canceling after November 1st might not seem like a big deal when it’s ‘just one person’, but when that number is multiplied by hundreds of no-shows, it adds up quickly. Additionally, but not canceling your entry in a timely manner, you are holding a spot in the race that someone else desperately wants.
